ABOUT THE EVENT

The theme for No Girl Left Behind 2024 is RELATIONSHIPS!

Our empowerment team will guide you through a day full of presentations, discussions and activities that will give you the tools to navigate difficult relationships and break toxic cycles, improve your relationships by building trust and respect, foster effective communication, and nurture healthy relationships.

In order to grow and thrive, we must first heal from within and learn to let go of the things that no longer serve us.

No Girl Left Behind will help you do just that!

Mission STATEMENT

The No Girl Left Behind event’s mission is to provide our attendees with a one-of-a-kind, empowering experience. We will take you on a journey to realizing your worth and building stronger, more meaningful relationships with yourself and others. We will help you build the foundation, but our true goal is to equip you with tools that will last a lifetime.

Kiki Rozema

Kiki Rozema will offer workshops designed to help participants improve communication and foster healthy, trusting, and respectful relationships. Kiki will lead discussions with participants designed to encourage self-reflection before participants write a letter to their self/daughter/mother, allowing the gates of honest conversation to open.

Raedawn Marie

Raedawn offers you a unique experience through guided hypnosis meditation; a transformative journey where participants will gain the opportunity to shed the weight of their past and connect with the highest version of themselves. Through this specialized technique, participants will be led to a serene realm of their own creation to experience a rapid evolution of growth and healing in the safety of their subconscious mind. This experience is intended to give participants a new understanding of themselves and allow space for self-compassion, love and a connection with the woman they truly desire to be.

Shelley Hoffos

Shelley Hoffos is thrilled to guide participants as they embark on a powerful journey to explore the essential concepts of self-love, self-discovery, authenticity, connection, and so much more. Shelley will guide participants through engaging discussions and creative activities designed to help them develop a strong sense of self, embrace their unique qualities, and foster meaningful connections with others.

These workshops are intended to help you embrace your unique voice and express your true self, honouring your intuition and inner wisdom to live your most authentic life.

Ashley Driedger

Ashley Driedger will lead sessions for our youth participants where they will spend time learning about and exploring the Crucial C's: connection, capability, courage, and counting. The girls will reflect on how these factors exist in their lives, and how they can be improved. Ashley will assist our young participants in creating "Celebrating Me" boxes full of items that participants can use to remind themselves how loved, important, brave, and capable they are. The mothers of our participants will also be provided with information to assist them in reflecting on their own Crucial C's, and ways they can support their child in developing theirs.

Dusty Sage

Dusty Sage is excited to guide you as we embark on a journey of self-discovery and self-empowerment. Just like when a butterfly emerges from the cocoon - Dusty believes that change, reflection and self-empowerment allow us to emerge as our beautiful and unique selves. We will explore authenticity, self-acceptance, personal growth, and spirituality through engaging discussions, reflective activities, and the magic of storytelling. We hope for you to leave this session with Dusty feeling spiritually empowered and connected to the loving and supportive energy surrounding you.

Jen Edwards

Jen Edwards will help you recognize your triggers, how your body reacts (both physically and emotionally), and how to regulate those reactions so that you can not only survive but thrive. During your time with Jen, she will discuss our nervous systems and physiological reactions, and you will learn about journaling to create agency and develop an understanding of how our bodies react to outside triggers. You will learn about guided breathing and how to use your yoga practice to release tension and emotional blockages - providing you with long-term healing tools to carry with you.

Ally Stone

Ally Stone is excited to present the Inner Agni Workshop; a transformative experience designed to provide participants with the tools to embrace their uniqueness, find their voice, deepen their relationships, and radiate confidence. Ally will work to create a safe space for you to share and connect with like-minded people and assist you in developing stronger self-love, discovering the power of your inner fire (Agni), learning strategies to navigate challenges with grace, and so much more.

Ashlee Piper

Ashlee is an advocate of self-love! Ashlee is dedicated to helping women feel empowered by teaching them to see their worth and love the skin they're in.

Ashlee will be discussing body appreciation, self- love and self-acceptance, working with No Girl Left Behind attendees to see their beauty, feel confident, and to let that confidence shine!

RICKI BARRETT

Ricki will guide participants through activities that will teach them about the power of Positive Affirmations, recognizing positive traits in others and the value of authentic
compliments.

Participants will have the opportunity to create, share and interact with others in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

BRITTNEY NEUNZIG

Brittney is excited to work with the girls to  help them understand the difference between self-confidence and self-worth and the factors that contribute to the development of these important parts of our identity. Through conversations and activities the girls will identify the influences in their own lives that are shaping their sense of self-worth and confidence and will leave with an arsenal of tools to nurture the development of a positive self-image.

ALETHEA CRIMMINS

In Alethea's transformative "Mirror Workshop," participants engage in a powerful exercise of reflection and self-definition. This workshop begins with individuals receiving a mirror, on which is written a word or phrase others have used to define them—often in a limiting or negative way. Alethea guides each participant to confront these external labels, asking them to look deeply into their own reflection, to truly see themselves beyond the word marked on the mirror.

The heart of the workshop lies in the moment participants erase the negative label and, in its place, write a word or phrase that positively reflects their own perception and feelings about themselves. This act of erasing and rewriting serves as a metaphor for reclaiming one's self identity and narrative control, turning the mirror into a canvas of self-acknowledgment and empowerment.

The emotional resonance of seeing one's own reflection paired with a personally chosen affirming word creates a poignant and impactful experience. This workshop not only offers participants a chance to redefine how they see themselves but also leaves them with a tangible reminder of their intrinsic worth and potential. It's an emotional, empowering journey that hands back the pen of self-definition to the rightful owner—themselves.

Participants walk away with a renewed sense of self,
empowered to carry their positive reflections into their daily lives.
